sound barrier developed as a response to a request from Stream Arts to develop a participatory work on the Greenwich Peninsular. Using contact microphones, we made recordings of these unintentional sound generators. They transform aircraft and traffic noise into monumental soundscapes. The only sound you hear in this recording is the barrier there was no editing or electronic processing.
