Holosphere is a composition for mixed ensemble of Chinese traditional instruments and western instruments. It combines improvised and indeterminate material with composed material. The piece was made for performers from the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts working with students from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. It was performed at the Lillian Bayliss theatre in Islington.
