Transverse flutes

Bansuri; Indian flute available in all keys, lowest instrument from G/A below middle C, highest up to orchestral piccolo register.
Dizi; Chinese flutes with or without reed buzzer. Lowest instrument D above middle C, most keys available.
Xiao; Chinese end blown flute
Taegum – large Korean flute
Sarewa; West African flute with ney-like sound. Several sizes. Limited scale possibilities, but very unique sonority. Combines with singing and circular breathing etc.
Various transverse flutes; including free reed flutes (like Chinese Bawu, and jade flute)
Irish/Celtic flute. (D)

Metal concert flute, and wooden concert flutes, Bamboo head for metal concert flute.
Bass flute.
Piccolo
Baroque flute A-440

Oblique flutes

Neys; Arabic and Turkish neys. Most keys possible.
Persian ney; Distinctive breathy sound, strong in low register. From G below middle C.
Kavals; Turkish and Bulgarian, (chromatic possibilities.)
Qawala; Egyptian ney-type
Ney type instruments, Gasba, various hybridised neys made by me in different keys.
Very low ney tubes for bass flute register.

Fipple flutes

Irish whistles
Irish Low whistle D/Eb
Various fipple flutes; Rumania, Asia
Native American flutes (pentatonic)

Double reeds

Zurna; Turkey, Macedonia, Armenia, various sizes
Nathaswaran; Large North Indian Shawm, two sizes.
Spanish Shawm in G
Suona; Chinese double reeds.
Duduk; Armenia, various keys.

Single reed

Arghoul; double pipe (melody/drone) in D
Various sizes of melody pipe and hornpipe. Can be made in most keys.

Horns

Didjeridu; various keys
Conch shell (high pitch)
Vaccines; low pitch resonant single note, can be made in most pitches.

Unusual percussion

Tanzanian Ilimba; Large, resonated thumb-piano, with buzzers and sympathetic keys. Bb (Pentatonic)
Tuned bamboo stopped tubes, set of 24 tuned, can be played in various pitch combinations.
